  1. Deeply disappointing I have always admired Michael Chiarello’s charming personality and very useful recipes from television. I have also grilled and barbecued practically everything for the past 45 years. So it was with real anticipation that I ordered his new cookbook “Live Fire”. I must say that there were very few recipes in this book that stirred my interest and far too many recipes such as whole lamb on an iron cross.   2. Gorgeous Book! The first thing I have to say about this book, is that it is gorgeous. By that I mean the photography and styling of the book is pleasing to gaze upon. The recipes are great as well, as long as you have endless time to cook. Michael turns s’mores into an all day affair by using homemade marshmallows. Most recipes, I feel are impractical for me, as I am a busy mom who works. I think for me, the best way to use this book would be to pick one recipe once in a while to try, for fun. Another…
