Lumber Jack 100-Percent Cherry Wood BBQ Grilling Pellets, 40-Pound Bag

Flavor: 100 percent Cherry LumberJack smoking pellets are made from 100% virgin wood, with no fillers, additives, or oils. In a world of by-products, LumberJack stands alone in providing pellets that start with specially selected whole logs from the Northwoods of Wisconsin to provide you with the highest quality pellet. By starting with the whole tree, we are able to select the right amount of bark to include in the pellet to impart the unique flavor of the species. Our blended products are blended with the specialty wood and Wisconsin seven ring oak prior to creating the pellets. By blending the wood first, each and every pellet is consistent with flavor. This process is more time consuming and expensive, but it insures that every pellet is consistent with it’s ability to impart the unique flavor of the wood, while burning hot and long enough to give superior results. Because BBQ pellets impart their flavor through burning and smoke output, we insure the product is food grade using an independent testing laboratory. This insures our product is only comprised of pure wood fiber. How to use: Place wood pellets in smoker tray or handmade foil envelope on grill near or under food. Ignite and allow to burn for several minutes, extinguish flame. Smoke for preferred time. Pellets burn at approximately 1 lb per hour.

  1. My go-to pellet brand Lumberjack pellets are really amazing. They stand out from other brands with a better flavor and slightly more smoke flavor compared to other pellet brands (due to the smaller diameter and more lignen). I’ve tried MBC, competition blend, and apple from lumberjack, and all three are great. Is still rather smoke with my stick-burner, but if I must use the pellet smoker, these pellets are the way to go. The one drawback is that these pellets produce a small amount more ash than other brands. This…

  2. Suweet! It’s a non-acrid, sweet and not bitter flavor that works really well on salmon and cold smoked cheeses that we just smoked this past week. This weekend we mixed some apple with these Lumber Jack cherry pellets and smoked slabs of pork ribs. This is now going to be our go-to combo for pork, DELICIOUS!We do a lot of smoking. This is the only brand (and we’ve tried quite a few) that you don’t mind the smoke clinging to your clothes and hands. Hmmm ….. think I’m going to put this in…
