Wonderful, exciting cookbook from beloved Chef Izard: however, possibly not the cookbook for which home cooks were hoping I was so excited that Chef Izard was, apparently, giving us a cookbook with her own home-cooking recipes that I bought the book for full Kindle price on Day One! I so wanted to love this book. Alas, few of the recipes are accessible for the home cook.Although some of the recipes come from the author’s home cooking, most are presented or tweaked from her restaurants, and very few are simple or straightforward. They’re not something that I’d want to make for a weeknight dinner…
