Won’t work with stove windscreen without modification but very handy once installed. I ordered the folding side shelves for our new Camp Chef Explorer Stove. The shelves arrived bent on both ends and the paint peeling where the metal was bent. As the box they were packaged in was undamaged it seems the shelves must have been bent when they were packaged at the factory. Itâs easy to see why they were bent as the metal they are constructed from is very thin. Things like the torch These shelves are a must have for the Camp Chef dutch oven table. The shelves really give you the extra space needed to set stuff pertinent to dutch oven cooking. Things like the torch, charcoal tongs, and lid lifter. When the cooking is complete the extra shelves are handy for setting up a serving line by placing plates/ bowls and plastic ware on 1 side, and condiments on the other side.I also use the table for dish washing afterwards. Quality needs improvement The notches on the shelves were not well thought out. When the shelves are lowered over the stove burners they will not lay flat because the shelves do not provide adequate clearance for the stove’s outer frame. The result looks like a drawbridge that cannot fully close and leaves a hump in the middle of the bridge. My solution was to use a metal cutting bit in a Dremel tool to create 1/4-inch notches as shown in the picture. The second problem is with the lifting tabs on the shelves. They…
