Bbq: The Ultimate Guide to BBQ Techniques and Meat Smoking

What’s better on a summer day than to enjoy the warmth and of the sun, in the company of friends and family, with food cooked in a healthy, natural way on your barbecue? While most people like barbecuing, however, very few know how to barbecue! So, far too often, what is meant to be a great culinary experience ends up being a disappointment, when cremated sausages and raw chicken are served after a long wait. This is because people approach barbecuing without having the necessary skills and knowing the different principles and techniques which, once you get acquainted with them, will allow you to add flavours to your food that you could not even imagine before; you will be able to present food that is unique, different from what the food we are used to, cooked on a gas hob or in the oven. This is why I wrote this book: to guide you from your very first steps as a barbecuer to becoming an experienced barbecuer, sharing lessons and techniques learnt over many years.

In this book, you will learn absolutely everything you need to know not just to present your family and guests with edible or acceptable food, but to wow them with your cooking techniques.

Everything you need to know is explained in detail and very clearly, and you will find lots of facts and tips that will be priceless when you see your family and friends smiling with satisfaction as they enjoy your food.

This book is a step by step guide to barbecuing which includes, among other things:

  • The basic principles of barbecuing, including how to choose charcoal, how to light a barbecue without using any chemicals, how to choose the best barbecue and tools for you and how to stay safe all the time.
  • How to measure the temperature of your grill, and how to make sure that you cook food at the right temperature, with a detailed list of how long it takes to cook different types of meat, fish and vegetables and at which temperature.

He does give you the basic information for heat levels and time needed to cook every type of meet and vegetables. The reason I wasn’t able to give this book five stars is because there were many…

The author does a nice job of explaining the differences between grilling and smoking, exploring their advantages and disadvantages. I learned how important it is to marinade the food I want to barbecue, and read with interest the recipes that make some…

  3. I received a copy of this book for free in exchange for an honest review.I probably could have given this book 3 stars, but the writing is pretty horrible. But I could not get past the bad writing.I also have issues with these self-published cookbooks that use stock photos that are…
