  1. Blue Smoke and Great Taste – Tri Tip to Brisket Fantastic device. I’ve used for under-hour steaks and tri-tip and hours long smoking of brisket (requires refilling with heavy duty gloves and tongs to hold). Paired with Weber Hickory chips for fantastic flavor. The design allows me to insert sideways between burners to get it started even on low flame, then place on top of the flavor bars or grill grates as needed to keep it going.   2. Just okay This pouch is okay and holds the chips nicely but smoking performance was marginal – at best – with my gas weber grill. I have tried using this smoker pouch several times on the gas grill and the results are okay – but the pouch needs too be close to the burner flame for it to work causing flare ups on the grill and the wood just burns up all at once. I think this may work better on a charcoal grill. I tried soaking the chips and different chip sizes with marginal results on the smoke…
