Apple Smoking Pellets Very Good! I love the smoke of apple, and these Myron Mixon pellet I was a little worried because they were 16.99 for a 20 lbs bag and not a single review!, So far these are good, I have not smoked this pellet all by its self but the quality seems to be there. Just smoked a Pork Butt for 44 hours and I used about 10 lbs of the Apple, some Cherry, peacan, and a small touch of Hickory not much though, and I will say the smoke ring was perfect and almost 3/4 of an inch.
