Good Starter Smoker This was my first smoker purchase and i wanted something compact and portable. I’ve used this a handful of times to get a good gauge on it’s capabilities. Thus far I have smoked pork ribs, cornish hens, chicken parts, veggies, bone in ribeyes and lobster tails. I have noticed that the back of the unit is hotter than the front, which causes the food to cook much quicker in the back as well as the thermometer to read almost 20 degrees lower in some instances.
