Seems a little frail I’m kind of up in the air on this item, teetering between a 3 and 4 star rating. It is NOT a cutting board. it’s too thin. but it is well put together and looks very nice. It could be used as an over sized cheese board with no problems and it would look very good on a table but the design talks about serving pizza and weirdly that’s where I have to question it.I do pizza for dinner maybe 2 times every three weeks-that’s dough, sauce topping etc from scratch, not a frozen pie so this…
Well, Rustic is Right The board is rustic to be sure. The staining on the one I received is rough as is the surface in some places and is inconsistent overall. The board is likely just under ½ inch and quite honestly feels cheap. It doesn’t appear to have the quality look to it that most Cuisinart products do.It is made in China and the information that comes with the board is nil. I want to know how safe it is for food—what kind of stain, what kind of glue is used putting this together…
