Adequate stove is better than competition After using three or four different table top stoves (not the small cylinder camping types) that were terribly weak we got a Camp Chef and I kinda like this one best. Kinda. I live in Mexico on the coast and everybody around here uses table top stoves – ovens don’t get used much and it’s easier and cheaper than a range.I have to say, that in a field of really poor stoves, this one shines as adequate and hot.   2. Heavy weight stove for my heavy weight pots/pans. What I love about the stove:: I was surprised how big and powerful the burners are. i have always used an electric stove and butane / propane camping stove. So i was a little scared and uncomfortable when i tested it. Even at a low setting, flame was still strong. But when i learned that i can lower the flame more when it was in the warm setting, my fears gone. I never needed to cook in the medium or high. I always use the warm setting. I purchased this BC I read it would work on the camper propane external port. Note: Do not drill orifices (NG conversion) as recommended by Tech support to allow this to work on your travel trailer external propane line.
