  1. Real User Experience: Great stove, but too barebone Camp Chef makes excellent stoves. The quality of this thing is top notch. However, the Explorer series is Camp Chef’s entry level, and being that, it is very barebone. I also went to Costco and got the Camp Chef Denali Pro 3X and it is a world different from this Explorer 3X. I will break down Camp Chef’s 2-burner and 3-burner models so that others will get a better understanding.You get the same 30k BTU burners on all the models, except the Outdoorsman that gets 60k BTU…

  2. Since it arrived she has been extremely pleased with the quality of the burners and the heat … My wife loves to can and has used a similar three burner set up for many years. Recently our old unit finally gave up the ghost. After some research I narrowed the choice down to the Camp Chef. Since it arrived she has been extremely pleased with the quality of the burners and the heat control. It makes her old unit look like the dud it had become.Downside: If you turn the propane tank on too quickly there’s a little shutdown valve that will prevent full gas flow to the burners…

  3. Love Love Love this 3 burner grill We were a little skeptical when ordering these for our canning process but I must say that when they arrived they were just what we wanted. These are very sturdy and will hold 3 large, 7 quarts each, jars. We also bought a 2 burner to heat up water to fill the jars so both of these made a hug impact on the amount of time it took to can.
