Buy without the pellets I bought this as a gift and have not tried it yet. I’m a little disappointed that the picture makes it appear that you are receiving a bag of Traeger pellets. As purchased with the pellets I paid about 5.00 more than purchasing the tube itself. A 30.00 bag of Traeger pellets is $11.00 at my local feed store. It appeared to be a good deal. When the tube arrived I realized that the only pellets you get for $5.00 are the pellets they pre-loaded into the tube. They are charging $5.00 for what cost…
Truly Amazing Gizmo !!! This thing IS truly amazing! I have been smoking meat for years. First with a round 2 grate charcoal smoker, which worked really well for flavor, but I was always having to ad charcoal and wet wood chunks through that awful little door.
