Smokes great, but hard to get started. Smoking worked pretty well, but the starter gel didn’t work at all, and it took a lot longer to get the pellets started than the directions said.Basically, you need a blow torch to get it started, and you need to keep the hottest part of the flame on the pellets for a few minutes (took me maybe 3-5) to get a good flame. Once the flame’s started, follow the directions – let it burn for 10-15 minutes, then blow it out.Once you get it started, it smokes like a dream…
