I’ve used them to put my hand into boiling water, picking up hot grates, the usual pots and pans and even for turning potatoes while camping, it all worked awesome. I actually put my hand into the fire and felt nothing!!! There is a strong smell initially, fyi, but wash it and voila, gone!
