  1. This is the only cookbook that I have ever owned or even seen that I would love to eat EVERY SINGLE RECIPE. There are no duds. The instructions are detailed, the photos wonderful and most of them include a recipe for the rub and the accompanying sauce. At the end of the book is a section on steak and chop basics detailing trimming, carving, cooking methods, deglazing, etc. along with recipes for stocks and side dishes like polenta and sweet potato biscuits.
