  1. Great Weber Q accessory to have, when you need it! Update: For even better performance and non-stickability, season the bad boy. Preheat your oven to 325 degrees, wash your 6558 griddle with detergent; I recommend using a chain mail scrubber if you have baked-on crust. Since the griddle is technically cast iron, you may see rust spots as you’d do with a regular cast iron skillet. Just scour the rust off with a scrubber (or steel wool if you need to).   2. Do Not Use Metal Spatula In the picture for this product they show someone using a metal spatula. However, the instructions say:”CAUTION: Using a metal spatula on the griddle surface can cause damage to the porcelain-enamel finish.”Weber Customer Support can’t even explain why their own picture shows a metal spatula being used on this griddle. And if a plastic spatula is used, it will get filed down because the griddle surface is rough. It would be nice if Weber could suggest what spatula…
