3-1/2 Stars. Some Features Work Better than Others. Bulky Storage I thought the Ninja might allow me to pare down my kitchen applicances to a multi use machine. Sadly, I’m still on the fence about whether it serves as an adequate replacement for the various appliances it duplicates.The dehydration feature is so-so and the machine doesn’t hold much (2 bananas max). Some food is put into the basket and the remainder on the bottom of the pan. The food on the bottom doesn’t get air circulating around it, so you have to move the food up to the basket…
So Versatile! I had tried an air fryer earlier that my family hated. I guess it could have been user error that kept the food from meeting our expectations but nevertheless we were under enthused. Not so with the Ninja Foodi Pro 5-in-1. To date, everything we have cooked in it has turned out so well. We have tried marked-down sirloin, hamburgers, brats, hot dogs, chicken nuggets, breaded shrimp, and our favorite cream cheese stuffed, bacon wrapped jalapeno peppers.
