My son said they were the best I ever made and I loved not having to … I used this in my Foreman indoor/outdoor grill. It was a bit long, but I was able to fit three slabs of babybacks on them. I set the grill between 1 & 2 and let them smoke for 4 hours. My son said they were the best I ever made and I loved not having to maintain the fire. I bought a butane lighter (but no butane), so I put some cardboard in it and lit it by laying it in the flames of my gas stove. Worked fine. Easy cleanup in the sink even with stuck on bbq sauce. I’ve also smoked wings…
Use caution with torches but good results It does the job and I like that it’s square and doesn’t roll around like my other container. However…the steel on this model is thinner than my round one and when I used my food torch to light the pellets along the side, the flame deformed the metal causing it to bend out of shape. In the future, I will torch only from the open end.[Update] Although the metal does warp slightly when applying a blue torch flame to the sides while lighting the pellets, it pops back into perfect…
