  1. Don’t waste your money. It’s light it’s flimsy and totally unsafe. I bought this last year and didn’t get around to using it until this week. My first effort to sear and then indirectly cook a chicken breast almost resulted in a trip to the hospital. I used 8 coals and then moved the meat to the side without the charcoal and put the lid on. When I went to remove the lid, it was too hot to touch. Good thing I checked before I reached for it. Today I tried a hand made burger. The grid is just too cheap and flimsy. I…

  2. The grate falls inside the grill and your food ends up in the bottom with the charcoal!!!! The top grate has a very shallow lip to sit on so it’s not very stable although I did cook my first meal on it and had no issues. However the 3rd try all my food slid into the charcoal and I had a hard time saving it. It’s pretty sad that it does that.In comparison to the Weber grill of the same size, the Cuisinart vents are flimsy and have to be attached with screws…The Weber grill has them pre-attached and they are solid.However, I like that the Cuisinart is so…
