Better than wire bristle brushes The stone grill cleaner is so much better than the wire brushes. Wire brushes spatter grease while using it and the wire bristles fall apart–someone I know ended up in surgery because of (unknowingly) ingesting a bristle. The stone cleaner has no worries of that. I bought a couple of these because my wife was freaked out about getting bristles from grill brushes in the food our family eats. It cleans the grill well enough, but starts disintegrating and leaves a lot of residue behind on the grill grates.
