Grill/Smoker/Dehydrator Screens Ex-Ware Screens are ideal for use for Indirect grilling, Smoker Screens and Dehydrator Screens. These Screens are FDA Compliant for direct food contact. See (21CFR 177.1550) With operating temperature resistant up to 550 F, these screens can take all the heat while still maintaining their nonstick Properties. Mechanically these screens are sturdy with a break strength of 450 lbs. /inch of width. The Ex-Ware Screens will not stretch and therefore they keep their dimensional stability. The nonstick properties of the Ex-Ware Screens allow even the most delicate of fish to be turned without the fear of the fish breaking up. Smoking of meats is a breeze as is the dehydrating of Jerky foods. (Beef, Chickens and fish) The Ex-Ware Screens will not stain or pick up odors from previously prepared foods. The small openings in the screen prevent foods from slipping down through the grates of the grill or smoker. Easy to clean in a warm water rinse. The screens are also dishwasher safe.   1. clean easily, food doesn’t stick, why aren’t they cut square to the mesh These mats will stop food sticking to your grill or smoker racks making fish and crumbly/chopped up food much easier to grill. You can use them all the time to avoid your grilled items getting stuck to the rack, as long as you stay below their thermal limit, and they don’t inhibit the normal grilling process.They are easy to clean compared to metal racks as the food doesn’t stick as much and they are flexible.Sometimes, in my smoker, I need sheets that are solid so…

  2. Honestly I don’t understand why these are so expensive, but at 1/3 of the price of the competitors I can’t complain too much. Like others have mentioned they’re not cut square, you can tell they’re sourced from a much larger sheet and cut down to size, and the cuts aren’t aligned with the mesh which honestly seems a bit lazy. Performance wise they are fantastic. Smoked some bacon wrapped chicken for a couple hours at 225 then finished on a pre-heated grill at almost 500 degrees. They didn’t…
