Higher Temps Than a Traeger I have been grilling with pellet grills for eight years. I started out with a traeger jr, & then a traeger Texas. I like the size of this grill the best. I like the design of the drip pan, because it will allow you to seer steaks and burgers. I cooked two large pork tenderloins, & found the meat probe extremely helpful. I started out with a high temp seer, & then closed up the pan for indirect heat. The meat had a nice crust and just enough smoke flavor. I can tell iâM going to love this…
