Works great These are good quality skewers that work well. The shape of the skewer helps to rotate the food (without the skewer simply rotating inside the food). I with they were slightly wider, but they are still better than any others I have found which is good considering the price. The tool that doubles as a storage bracket really doesn’t work very well. It doesn’t grip the skewers solidly enough and I typically burn myself if I try to use it to remove the food. A rubber band works better for storage…
Perfect I now have 3 sets of metal skewers. The first set were round skewers with a ring on one end. Didn’t like them as things kept spinning on them. The second set were much better, flat skewers with a nice curvy edge on one end that made turning them by hand (with welding gloves on) very easy. Unfortunately, they were much too wide making it difficult to put things like onion, bell peppers or grape tomatoes on the skewer without them splitting or spilling most of their juice.
