Good Mop For Larger Meats This mop does a great job for larger slabs of meat (briskets, pork butts, ribs) but I would not recommend it for smaller meats (chicken breasts, pork chops, etc). The mop is very large and holds a good amount of sauce which is why it makes sense for a larger piece of meat. When basting a smaller piece of meat most of the sauce gets absorbed by the mop and doesn’t make it onto the meat. I thought a smaller mop was included because the product came with 2 mops.
