  1. OK but there are better BBQ gloves. Big fan of his show. I thought these would be great but I was disappointed that they now have burn marks on them and they do not handle high temperatures well. I understand these are not made for high temperatures as much as they are designed for better manipulation of the food. I have an electric smoker and depending on the amount you are smoking, you can have some tight spaces I need to get my hands in, adjusting probes, turning meat without pulling the dripping rack out, or pulling the…

We had to return these gloves because when we used them to pull food a part (a use that is promoted on the box… we used them to debone a roasted chicken), they left a horrible “metallic chemical” taste on our meat. It tasted so bad that we had to throw the chicken away. Also, looked on the box to make sure we were using them correctly, and unbeknownst to us when we ordered them, there is a CA required warning label that says that the gloves contain a chemical known to cause cancer…
