Oven Mitts Gloves, Heat Resistant Silicone Gloves BBQ Grilling Gloves for Cooking Baking Barbecue Potholder

Description:

X-Chef Oven Mitts Gloves are thick and sturdy silicone but still easy to work with on your hands, convenient and reusable, great to remove hot dishes from the microwave, no more fumbling and juggling hot dishes with pot holders and towels.

It’s also good to open a firm jar with the gloves, anti-slip, open those long time unopened bottles with ease with these mitt gloves.

Dishwasher safe, just toss it into the dishwasher then it comes out as new as when you bought it. Simple for hand wash, clean with soapy water, then hang it to air dry, that’s all.

If you are petite, it’s not a problem at all. It works with smaller hands without being cumbersome and works great for giant ones as well.

CAUTION: Please avoid holding a 425°F+ cast iron skillet of HEAVY FOOD IN ONE HAND FOR A LONG TIME.

  1. Not for CAST IRON. Can’t trust them enough to lift pan off stove. Feel heat right through them. Not enough protection. These are not serious oven gloves. Old fashioned quilted pot holders would give you more protection than these. I used these new Oven Mitts today to make a simple egg and potato breakfast in a small cast iron skillet. As I maneuvered the pan around by the handle (to turn potatoes and flip eggs) I started to feel the heat coming through the gloves. When I tried to lift the pan to plate the meal, it was obvious the heat was coming right through the gloves. I had to bring…

  2. Great oven mitts, they do the job and are easy to work with. [UPDATE] This is an update to what I wrote below a few days. Tonight I crisped up some tater tots in a cast iron skillet in a 400 degree oven. I used these mitts to retrieve the pan from the oven and almost burned my hand. Up until tonight the mitts seemed fine, but now I will be very careful with what i use them for. Clearly 400 degrees is too hot for them to handle. Be careful. [END UPDATE]These are exactly what I was hoping for. The gloves are thick and sturdy silicone but still…

  3. Fear Not! (unless you need them mostly for cast iron) I love these gloves! So much more convenient and usable to me than the “mitt” type silicone I used previously (and those were a big step up from the old-fashioned fabric-y ones, so it’s all going in the right direction, it seems) I see some very mixed reviews here; it seems people either love them or hate them (although almost all wish the fingers were a bit longer?)It appears the people who warn of them not being heat resistant enough and possibly dangerous almost all used…
