  1. Five Years of Heavy Use and Still Working We grill year around. At least once a week. My experience is cheap grills last about as long as expensive grills. I purchased this grill about 5 years ago. Only thing I have replaced are the metal tents over the burners, which I fabricate out of sheet metal. The igniter died after a couple years, but I have never had an igniter on any grill that lasted very long. Same with the burner tents.
