Non-stick coating is not very durable. I very much like my Breville Smart Grill … enough so that when it had a malfunction I replaced it with another just like it. However, while the flat plates work just fine, it would certainly be nice if there were more durable. Nice Indoor Grill! Awesome grill. I have cooked bacon, veggies, hamburgers, eggs, and pancakes with no problems! It really will sear, grill marks on veggies and meat. I purchased another set of plates, the flat and grill plate! The grease does go in the tray like it is designed to do. I like to keep the bacon greese. I know right! But it is bacon grease! You do need to wipe the grill off after use and I do wash plates by hand. It is no big deal though! I have used it several times and have never had an…
