Removal and installation of the generator on the mounting plate is very easy, which will make it easy to store I purchased this unit to add to my Digital Electric Smoker (Masterbuilt), as the factory smoke pan was small, and fed externally by hand through and even smaller inserted tube/handle. The unit only produced smoke while the heating element was on, and would never turn the chips to ash and allow subsequent chips to burn thoroughly.Installation was a bit tricky, as the required 5 inch hole to mount the unit had to be perfectly placed between the rack mounts, which are 5 inches apart…

Great while it lasted It worked great for about 20 hours usage, then it stopped advancing the pucks automatically.Pressing the manual button ejects a puck just fine.I took it apart and inside everything is clean and all wiring is connected.Edit: I learned from digging through bradley forums that there is a fix which involves 1) waiting for 20 minutes until the puck starts to automatically advance and 2) unplug the smoker, then plug it back in.
